Consequently, USFS Industrial is dedicated to making sure that all the products and services we offer are certified compliant with the most appropriate industry standards. Our Coronavirus cleaning process is no exception. Because, not only does our sanitization mist kill off viruses and bacteria fast, but it is the first safe method for power spraying equipment and facilities with an alcohol sanitizing solution. Read below to learn how are three-step sanitization process works.

Step 1: Preliminary COVID-19 Site Assessment

Your Project Manager will conduct a visual walkthrough with your property or space manager. Together we are looking for crevices and dark places where COVID-19, bacteria, other viruses, and disease can lurk extra long.
It is vital to note to ensure a fire-safe operation, USFS uses patented technology with a high pressure bottled carbon dioxide as a carrier to spray the sanitizer, which eliminates the alcohol flammability. As a stream of CO2 propellant engulfs the alcohol mist, the oxygen required to combust is displaced. Our sanitization mist can be used near an open flame without any dangers.
Meanwhile, upon completion of the walkthrough, your property manager and assigned USFS project manager will develop a site sanitation plan to be used during step 2.

Step 2: Coronavirus Disinfecting and Sanitization process

Before beginning the sanitization step, your USFS Environmental Disinfecting Specialists will gear up in their PPE (personal protective equipment) and prepare to sanitize. Your USFS assigned team will have all the required equipment required to tackle this sterilization process.
Your USFS Environmental Disinfecting Specialists will power up our misting unit that propels the mist of sanitizer up to 15 feet and begin to disinfect surfaces, equipment, and crevices. Sanitization is done by propelling a non-flammable mist of concentrated alcohol through our point-and-spray atomizer. Our formula mist is an EPA, and NSF approved hospital-grade disinfectant that’s non-corrosive and safe for use on precision equipment and electronics. The solution safely sanitizes and quickly evaporates, leaving surfaces and equipment ready for use
Above all, our sanitizing power system atomizes the sanitizing solution into extremely tiny micro-particles to form an efficient, penetrating spray. Those micro-droplets swirls into cracks and crevices, adhering to surfaces that are often missed by wiping methods.
In addition, our sanitizing fog is a charged and micro-particle small so it gets into every nook, cranny, and crevices within a space. Your sanitizing tech methodically applies the micro-spray everywhere, following our site sanitation plan developed in step 1.

Step 3: Bonding Time

Because of our sanitization mist’s noncorrosive sanitizing solution, surfaces are dry and ready for use after treatment. Our sanitization mist formula enables a spray and walks away method. The formula contains a concentrated solution of alcohol, as well as a four-chain quaternary ammonium compound that will continue sanitizing even after the alcohol has evaporated.
In other words, while our disinfecting mist mostly dries within moments, we ask that you wait to enter the facility twenty minutes after application to ensure that the sanitization process in 100% effective.
Because we use a four-chain quaternary ammonium compound, it makes it difficult for bacteria and viruses to survive on. In conclusion, after treatment is complete, it continues to could fight against COVID-19 for 90 days or more.

Our Sanitizing Formula

While pure alcohol is the more widely used virus-killing disinfectant, our sanitizer utilizes alcohol and ammonium compounds. Our sanitizing solution contains a mixture of 58.6% alcohol plus an added four-chain quaternary ammonium compound. Above all this ammonium compound provides additional longer-term virus-killing power than the more pedestrian disinfectants with a 70% only alcohol base.

Additionally, when you compare our formula to hydrogen-peroxide based formulas, the USFS solution is safe for humans, pets, metals, plastics, and of course, our environment. Our formula has been approved by the EPA.

COVID Killing and Sanitizing FAQ’s

How long does it take for your sanitizing compound to kill coronavirus?

Our mist will kill most viruses upon contact, but we ask you to wait 20 minutes before using any space or equipment that has been treated.

Is your COVID-19 killing sage for electronics and other equipment?

Our spray thoroughly sanitizes sensitive components in seconds without damaging them. There is no wiping required since the sanitizing solution dries in seconds.

How does your sanitizing formula become a mist?

Our power mister with special applicator nozzle transforms our sanitizing formula into a micro-particle mist that propels it with a C02 mix. Since air is lighter than C02, it helps the disinfecting compound to settle onto surfaces quickly. With a 15-foot dispersion area, hard to reach places are easy to reach.

Will your coronavirus cleaning compound kill other viruses and bacteria?

That is to say, yes, our formula is an EPA registered claim label that is a proven bactericidal, virucidal, and tuberculocidal formula.
